GiGi’s Playhouse Raleigh
As part of a public relations writing course through the APPLES Service-Learning program, I served as a student public relations assistant for GiGi’s Playhouse Raleigh, a non-profit supporting individuals with Down syndrome and their families. I dedicated 35 hours of service throughout the semester, collaborating with a team of three students to develop and present a comprehensive communication audit tailored to the organization’s goals. Additionally, I created a full media kit including a news release, feature story, blog post, media pitch, public service announcement, and direct mail letter to strengthen the organization’s visibility and outreach efforts.
